Hmmm . . . I thought I got them all, but must of missed this new app somehow. Anyway, it looks pretty good and I am going to download it to my iPhone 4S. I just sent you an email requesting a promotional code. TIA.

Thanks Dennis,
I have sent you back the promo code. Couple points to note:

- The kWhValue in the Settings screen along with Currency Code, can be used to setup financial yield based on flat rate. Tiered value is in the pipeline.

- On the main screen, clicking on the values labels will switch between Energy & $$ value figures. Clicking the button in the middle (with Sun icon) will do the same switching accept it force a data refresh as well.

I'm sorry I'm late to the freebie request but at this point I'm unwilling to pay for another Solar production tracker/display of my PV system. With 4 app loaded is more than I will ever need, but things may change in the future.

I agree. One good app should be enough. Thought of sharing this App with you guys to solicit feedback and I started to get some valuable comments.

Jawad, I wound up buying your app, so you can have back the promo code you email'd me and give it to someone else.

Here is some feedback for you to consider . . .

You should rename the app because "Enphase Monitor" displays as "Enpha...nitor" as an icon on the iPhone. "Enphase Mon" will fit better, or how about "SolarMonitor"? "Solar Status" and "PVMonitor" are already used by other apps.

On the "Summary" display screen (referred to as "System Status" screen in Help), "Monthly Yield" appears to exclude the current day's production.

In the lower left corner on the Summary display, for my system when in RGM "meter measurement" mode, it says, "17 meter". In Microinverter measurement mode it says, "17 microinverters". I think the measurment mode would be better suited to a separate field when in RGM mode, and the no. of microinverters displayed for the system should always be in a field of its own.

In Settings, the field for "kWh Value:" should be labeled, "Cost per kWh:" and the "Currency" field entry should be selected from a picklist.

Thanks Dennis for your comment.

Apple does not allow App name changes. So the only way to change is to create a new App.

Point taken for the summary screen title in help file. The monthly power shows reported power till yesterday and there is a reason for that related to the way enlighten servers update the monthly data in a time lagged fashion.

For the RGM, I need to understand more about it.

As for the $ value / $ cost. We are revamping the financial calculation to support different incentives models.

I truly appreciate your input. Thanks again.

In future versions, can you add a footnote or clarification in the Help file to explain the energy summaries exclude the current day's production?

I'd sure like to see a gallery of all apps using the API. Maybe a new thread ostensibly limited to *only* app existence announcements? Think it'd work? :)

One of the most unsettling things with all these 3rd party iPhone apps, is their summary yields generally agree, but not so much with Enlighten, because the latter appears to include "today's" energy production of the current day in all these same yield periods, thus creating mismatches. I don't even think Enlighten really includes the current day's production until after a certain point in latter part of the same day. This is probably the reason for this apparent discrepancy.

I will try to explain the reason why.

Unlike all 3rd party Apps, Enlighten website has access to the raw data in the server or at least to a set of non-public APIs that allow extended functionalities.

3rd party Apps on the other hand can only deliver information that are available through the public APIs.

So how do we update from the v1.0
the v1.0 does not allow an update
I also opted for the monthly Cloud storage and it still shows that it expires on July 6th

Hmm, Unable to fetch Enphase data... The API-key is entered correctly however... What to do? Also a little frustrating is that the key is empty after this message and you press 'systems'.

Hello Marc,
I was not able to regenerate the scenario you are talking about. Yet, I suspect the issue to appear due to timed out request to enlighten. I suggest one of the following:

1- Close the connection error message you mentioned. Wait for around 5 seconds, press the systems details icon below the key and then return back.

Or

2- Go to iPhone Settings App and scroll down through your installed App till you get Enphase-Monitor. select it and enter the key from there.

We are interested in finding more about this issue. I would be grateful if you share you input via the below mail:

So how do we update from the v1.0
The v1.0 does not allow an update on the iPhone5 and only shows install of v1.0
I also opted for the monthly Cloud storage and it reverted back to {expires on July 6th}

I am trying to find the PEAK POWER of the system in any of the tabs, but I cannot see it in either the "chart" or the ""home" tabs.  Where does it show the PEAK POWER for "today" ? I know it must be somewhere since it is, I would imagine, quite simple to retrieve from the enphase system data. Am I am missing something in the app ?
